It started with an idea. A role playing campaign had developed a life of its own through years of development and collaboration. Soon the universe of our organic stories became as intricate and fascinating as any of the ones we followed in our second shared hobby, comic books. The plotlines evolved into this legendary epic and the setting into its own genre. It was a crime not to share it.

All this time we were lamenting, as were most fans, over the state of comic books. We were getting sick of the constant stream of utter trash, poorly conceived ideas, and half-baked ideas for "bold" new directions made by people who obviously had no clue what fans really wanted. Every attempt to modernize and "improve" characters turned out to be absolute tripe.

The only thing that kept us shelling out our money was love of the medium. It took some time to build the resolve to stop dreaming from the sidelines and get in the game. Then once we did, we mapped out as a solid and marketable a plan as two guys with no money could. Here's the result.

We don't believe that to be different and original you have to be wierd, anti-establishment, or needlessly graphic. We don't believe that mature means pointless swearing, gore, and tits. We don't believe that comics are just for kids, but that doesn't mean we have to be NC-17 or cater to some self-styled intellectual elite to feel respected.

We DO believe that comics can be more than what the industry leaders allow it to be. We believe that most of today's "mature" comics are, in fact, infantile. We believe most comic book readers, young and old, want solid characters, intelligent stories, and quality art without meaningless trends, flash, and hype.

Rogue Wolf was created to give people something different. Not something "shocking", "edgy", or "hip" ... but something genuinely new.
