RULES OF CONDUCT or OUR DEFINITION OF NETIQUETTE
Reading all the various nettiquette rules on most other sites is a joke.

Don't engage in criminal behaviour ... duh. Don't swear... duh. Don't flame ... d-- Ahh.. There's your gray area.

The loophole here is that there are 10 million different ways to belittle someone verbally without being blatently provoking. Traditional netiquette is often little more than an open license for educated bullies.

The "official" rules of conduct can be summed up simply: Don't be a schmuck.

Posting here is the same as walking into my home and sitting around the rec room face to face with my friends and family. Don't say anything in public that you would not say face to face in someone's house.

On the same token, if you do visit here, you'll be treated with the same respect as any guest in my own home.
